Markandeya

Markandeya (Marcus Berg) is a Swedish musician, singer, and producer currently living in Colombia. His sultry vocals and deep bass lines are woven together in an emotive soundscape that defines his signature heart-centered ethereal dub.

As the founder and lead singer of the pioneering eight-piece orchestra Kultiration, Marcus was pivotal in shaping the Nordic modern roots scene from 2004 onward. He is also part of the celebrated duo Minük.

In 2021, during a period of global introspection Markandeya delved deeper into his love for the subtleties of space and distance in music. With his release Vision Dubs, he invited listeners into an intimate world of delay and reverb-drenched fullness, further exploring hypnotic minimalism and inner reflection.
