Karolina & Hajni

Karolina and Hajni have been working with Åsa for many years. As apprentices on the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path, their journey is not only about learning and maturation, but of leadership and responsibility. They are part of Åsa’s Assistant Team, supporting the Shamanic Dearmoring Retreats as well as the Apprentice Yearlong Programs. In her everyday life, Karolina is a Medical Doctor, studying alternative healing modalities such as Kinesiology. Hajni is a bodywork therapist and event organiser. They both have held space many times as Fire Chiefs. It is the Fire Chief’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the space, to make sure everything that’s needed, is taken care of, and the Fire is tended both in a safe way and in a deeply ceremonial manner. Being Fire Chief is a true example of service, self-responsibility and leadership.
