Maja Ejrnæs
Maja Ejrnæs is an experienced facilitator with a background in anthropology, movement practice, and performance art. She has worked extensively with sensory education through the award-winning performance group Sisters Hope, and is a certified facilitator of Building Conversation (dialogical art form). Since 2020, she has been part of building the movement community Rört in Copenhagen as a teacher of Contact Improvisation (CI). She’s currently working with evaluating the value of art and culture in society at the University of Copenhagen. Her previous work includes working with art-based recovery strategies through The Art of Transformation, and in 2019 she co-founded a forum theatre group that offered interactive sexual education for teenagers. As a practitioner of Contact Improvisation, she explores the phenomenology of touch and engages in developing scores for group improvisation.
